    Description

    Brand new trackpad. Works with 2009-2012 13", 15", and 17" MacBook Pro models. Will not work with 2008 models. Cable not included but cable can be taken from your old trackpad. This is an aftermarket trackpad as is the majority of the market since Apple no longer produces trackpads.
    **Important, the 2008-2012 models have A1286 or A1278 model numbers. Do not use your model number to assess compatibility. If you are uncertain of the release year, please ask. I can help.**
    Most of the trackpads ship with a protective blue wrap on the back. Do not attempt to remove this wrapping as it is very likely you will accidentally damage the electrical traces running behind the black portion of the trackpad.
