The Hill Country Skinner by Mundial was designed by and for professionals involved in deer and small animal processing. The blade was tested by seasonal processors and taxidermists in Texas. The small blade's design makes it very versatile for skinning, trimming, and other work where a small blade is desired. The slight up-sweep helps in skinning and trimming, while the narrow point works easily in tight areas. Use on deer, rabbits, and poultry. The handle is molded onto the tang and blade for extra strength. The polymer is commercial grade, meaning it is not only dense and strong, but is resistant to heat and cold, plus antimicrobial agents were added to the polymer to reduce the growth of bacteria on the handle. The handle design is larger for better grip, but not to large to interfere with work. It was ergonomically designed to fit the hand, to improve control and comfort. Finger contact areas and ridges were added to improve grip and leverage when working.
